I have a passion for traditional art techniques and portraiture is one of my favorite genres. It is the most used artistic genre in art in general. Other areas of art include nature and the natural world, children's art and abstract art which doesn't attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead use shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks to achieve its effect. All are a vital form of creativity.
